The Monster Girls

The Monster housemates have been wondering about the inbalance of girl monsters and boy monsters in the house since Day 1. When they first moved into the house there were 10 monster boys and only 2 monster girls.

Monster Big Brother had always intended to introduce new female monsters into the house during the first week, however an incident involving the production team has now made this impossible.

This incident has been reported in the press under headlines such as "Marauding Monster Make-Up Miss Munches Mates". The reporting has been inaccurate and we would like to take this opportunity to tell you the truth about what happened to the other prospective monster housemates.

Our six monster housemates in waiting were being held at a secure location awaiting their entrance into the Monster Big Brother house. One of the production team monsters was insanely jealous of the fame these monster ladies would soon be experiencing and she used her telepathic powers to persuade them to drop out of the process.

Although she did not eat any of the prospective contestants she has certainly traumatised them and in at least one case has caused permanent psychological damage.

The make-up monster in question is being held in police custody.

Day 5 - Voting Starts Today

The Monster Big Brother housemates have been in the house now for a week, you've had plenty opportunity to get to know them and now the polls have opened to decide which monster housemates will stay and which ones will leave.

Here's how it works, vote for your favourite Monster Housemates in the poll here on the right. Next Thursday the votes will be counted and verified and the TWO monsters with the least votes will be evicted from the house on Friday. You can vote for as many monsters as you like to keep your favourites in the house.

Who stays? You decide.

Day 2 - A Rude Awakening

It was very early this morning before the last of the Monster Big Brother Housemates went to bed. So only one of them seemed pleased to be awake at 7am.

Marvin woke the other housemates by jumping from bed to bed and shouting "BIGBROTHERINSPACEBIGBROTHERINSPACEBIGBROTHERINSPACEBIGBROTHERINSPACE"

Lurly Jack screamed, Ratu growled, Hector hid under the duvet, Mabel started crying and Cthulhu Sky was cursing like, well like a Lovecraftian terror who's been woken up too early in the morning.

Swannie and Kelvin restrained Marvin on the floor and tried to calm him down. Through the hyperventalation and wild arm movements it started to become obvious that Marvin thought the Monster Big Brother House had been moved into orbit as they slept! Swannie took Marvin out to the garden in an attempt to convince him that they were still on Earth, Kelvin went to make some tea and everyone else went back to sleep.

In space? What kind of budget does he think this show has?

Day 1 - Where Are the Other Monster Girls?

It didn't take long before the monster boys were wondering where the other monster girls were.

Terrence was the first to bring the subject up. "Have you noticed that we're a mostly male house?"

"Yes, where are all the Monster girls?" asked Hector in his luscious French accent.

"Big Brother often plays tricks" said Cthulhu (aka Stripes) with confidence "I would not be surprised if there were more monster girls coming into the house very soon."

Oh Cthulhu, I wonder if you're right?

Make Yourself at Home

So all 12 monsters are now in the house...let's leave them to get acquainted shall we. (I for one need a long lie down in a darkened room after all that excitement).

The Final Housemate is - Cthulhu

That's right, the final Monster Big Brother housemate is another Cthulhu, this could cause some embarrassment, especially if either of them are actually the Elder and not just his Cthulhi minions.

This Cthulhu claims that he's the cuddliest Cthulhu in all the land. He is made from a very soft wool in shades of lemon, tangerine, melon, pistachio and graham cracker. His ginormous eyeball is a lovely shade of sparkling spring green and he's eyeballing the crowd with it now.

Cthulhu comes to the Monster Big Brother house from UglyGerbil. At first the crowd were a little wary, but they're warming to him now, he's certainly majestic as he waves all his tentacles at different parts of the crowd whilst opening the door to the Monster Big Brother house.

Will 12 become 10?

With mere hours to go and speculation of tantrums and demands already in the press we are all asking the same questions; How many monsters will there really be? Did housemates really storm out after being told that woollen monsters would have to take HOT baths? Will there really be a monster-eating monster in the house? (Will he bite off more than he can chew?) Who can actually control these things? And, surely, aren't monsters only people too?

The Countdown Continues...

The monsters are being kept away from the public and the media, they have no idea of the level of speculation going on out here.

We can now exclusively confirm that the monster housemates will be from all over the world, cut from many kinds of cloth, moulded in different ways and many of them have impressive teeth.

The Monster House is Waiting

On Monday 8th June, a group of monsters will be entering the Handmade Monster Big Brother House. They don't know one another yet, but they'll soon be spending 24/7 together.

There have been plenty of rumours in the media. Will there really be a famous monster in the house? What about the twins? And how many of them will be hand knitted?

Will they be the best of friends or will someone get eaten? Watch this space.
